The Facts (Chapter number: Verse)
Jeremiah 23 - No mention of any women.
Jeremiah 24 - No mention of any women.
25:10 - "And I will banish from them the sound of mirth and the sound of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp."
Jeremiah 26 - No mention of any women.
My Comments
I will never enjoy the length of these whiny books in the Bible. Jeremiah only needs to be 3 chapters MAX. One chapter for whining about how everyone hates him because he loves God (boo-hoo), one chapter for how much God hates Israel cheating on him and maybe another about just how much God is going to punish (read: torture and abuse) Israel for having the audacity to not love him as much as or in the exact way that he wants them too (boo-fucking-hoo).
There isn't even anything to really talk about anymore. I might as well just start copying and pasting previous posts because that' pretty much exactly what the Bible is doing. Why should I put more effort into my writing than God is willing to put into his One True Book?
I may start accelerating the reading process to try and rip this Jeremiah bandaid off more painlessly...
