Bible logic. Love it.

I had a "bible" class in college. Was called Gender, Sex, and Violence in the Bible. I LOVED the class and my professor. I think that class was what got me on the road to my agnostic atheism because sadly that was the first time I realized I could actually question and critically look at the Bible.

@Efogoto: Thus I am led to conclude that a) you amaze me with your ability to follow the weirdness and vagueness that is Bible genealogy and b) moms are actually super villain master minds. :DNulleFidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05715257430971565382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5122011366604192824.post-25777730769451986072010-10-26T21:32:14.828-05:002010-10-26T21:32:14.828-05:00From what my Bible professor said (spent a year at...From what my Bible professor said (spent a year at Harding University...meh), Kings and Chronicles are separate documents (supposedly) and the fact that they ARE the same means they corroborate and THUS THIS IS A TRUE STORY GUYS. Ahaziah's son is Joash, saved by his aunt from grandma's wrath. Grandma knocks off the other g-kids to rule in their place. After her death, "[t]he children of Athaliah, that wicked woman" are mentioned. Are we aware that Joash is himself a son of the son of that wicked woman? Apparently one can be confident that the wicked hasn't touched the ones you like, only the ones you hold accountable.

Q: "WHYYYYYYYYY are the women the reason these kings were wicked?!?!?!"
A: Because they were wicked mommies! Everyone knows a boy can be brought to evil by mommy.Efogotonoreply@blogger.com
